Cordovan is a new development in the Oppenheimer Park area of Vancouver, scheduled for completion in November of 2014 and we were proud to take part in the pre-sale process. The development boasts overheight ceilings and your very own door that opens to a beautiful green courtyard. The homes are spacious and townhomes with rooftop patios were a big seller.

We had a chance to talk to our client Susanne and her husband Derrick, who are excited to move in to the Cordovan space when it opens.

Susanne and her husband currently live on Pender on the edge of Gastown and Chinatown. They’ve chosen to move further east to enjoy a neighbourhood with it’s own charm quite unlike anything you’d find in, say, Yaletown.

“The rooft top patio was the main seller for sure, but also having two levels for the [price] was a deal we couldn’t back out of.” –Susanne and Derrick; Cordovan buyersScreen Shot 2014-01-31 at 11.03.11 AM

Susanne and her husband chose the Oppenheimer District because of it’s charm that has often been overlooked for decades. The area is up-and-coming, and they hope to see  (and be part of!) much development in the area over the years they live there.

This foundational neighbourhood of Vancouver is just steps away form trendy new restaurants, like Cuchillo and Ask For Luigi, and is also home to high end butcher shop, Big Lou’s – famous for it’s sandwich.
