The fashion industry is huge. Every year, the global industry brings in billions of dollars in revenue, provides countless jobs and sets the tone for popular culture.

As with any industry, there’s often a lack of green behavior in the Fashion industry, and Vancouver Eco Fashion Week seeks to do better.

Starting on April 27, and running for 3 days, the 8th edition of Eco Fashion Week features a list of speakers and seminars about change for good in Fashion. The event starts at 12 PM on the 27th with a seminar about “Fashion For Life, Not Waste” featuring Jason Matlo, a successful Vancouver designer. Over the course of the weekend, you’ll get the chance to hear talks about sustainability from fashion executives, visit pop-up shops and trunk shows, and also enjoy a few cocktails! The event wraps up at LED Nightclub with a closing Celebration on April 29th. What a fabulous way to spend the weekend!
